Love can be found anywhere, and for Lindsey and Eric, it was discovered at the DMV. That’s right, these two met at the Department of Motor Vehicles and the rest is history! Their Downtown St. Petersburg wedding ceremony was held in the beautiful waterfront Flora Wylie Park. When the knot was tied, the wedding party hopped onto a trolley to get to the reception at Cafe Alma. Their gorgeous wedding day was made possible by a dream team of wedding vendors and captured by Richard Harrell Photography.
The Vinoy Hotel provided a luxurious space for the ladies and gentlemen to get ready and also set the stage for the much anticipated First Look on its manicured lawn. This glamorous hotel provided a key element for this classic and romantic Downtown St. Petersburg wedding. 
During wedding planning, Lindsey’s only requirement for her wedding bouquet was that she wanted a “mack daddy” bouquet full of white blooms and greenery. Mission accomplished!
As a surprise from the Mother of the Groom, individual white roses were hung upside down from the branches of a historic tree to frame the ceremony location, Acoustic music played softly in the background as a family friend married Eric and Lindsey in front of their family and friends.
The weather could not have been more perfect for the picturesque Downtown St. Petersburg wedding.
The celebration continued at Cafe Alma where the exposed brick, wooden floors, and candle light provided a warm and cozy atmosphere. The white florals and greenery provided a bright contrast to the classic black linens.
Eric and Lindsey danced the night away with all their guests who raved how wonderful the evening had been. Who knew that love could be found at the DMV? Now it’s a tale as old as time.
